Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD has initiated the production of its inaugural plug-in hybrid model within Brazil, signaling a significant step in its broader strategy to deepen manufacturing capabilities in key international markets. The BYD Song Pro Super-Hybrid Flex Fuel, capable of operating on electricity, gasoline, or ethanol, is now available across Brazilian dealerships. The company has attributed these issues to subcontractor misconduct.
